The Friends of the Rafael Hernández School (FOH) is the 501(c)(3) nonprofit branch of the Hernández School. Its Board of Directors consists of parents, school administration, and community partners. Friends of the Hernández is responsible for the After School program, our expanded “Art, Cultura e Identidad” art program, and building community partnerships with various organizations in and around Boston.
The mission of the Friends of the Hernández (FOH) is to support and advocate for the Rafael Hernández K-8 Dual Language Immersion School and the surrounding community. In collaboration with school staff, families and partners, the organization contributes to the cultural fabric of our neighborhood and increases access to high-quality after school programming as well as the arts and dual-language education
